A-house > villa concept 2006/2007

In 2006 a collaboration between Atelier 8 Architectuur & Stedenbouw and HyperFORM resulted in the A-house villa concept.
The concept illustrates the link between the Dutch rural areas and the city, bringing traditional barn construction methodes from the farm to the city's suburbs.

This is the result > hyperFORM A-house

The construction of the superstructure consists of four wooden A-frames. All floors, walls and facades are suspended within these frames, creating the very open and non-traditional structure of the house.
